Pymatuning Sailing Club is located on the north end of Pymatuning Lake, between Andover, OH, and Linesville, PA.
From the North (I90)
- Exit at route 11 and head south to Ohio State Route 6.
- Take a left and go east to the town of Andover. Go around the square 3/4 of the way to Route 6/7 north.
- Go 4.4 miles to Woodard Road and take a right.
- Travel to the end of Woodard (at Horse Farm) and turn right on Phelps. This dirt road will go into the state parkland and end at the lake edge and the PSC gate. (note: there are faster/shorter ways, but this is the simplest)
From the South
- Go north on Ohio State Rte 11 to Route 6.
- Exit and turn right, which is east. Drive into the town of Andover. Go around the square 3/4 of the way to Route 6/7 north.
- Go 4.4 miles to Woodard Road and take a right.
- Travel to the end of Woodard and turn right on Phelps. This dirt road will go into the state parkland and end at the lake edge and the PSC gate.
From the Pittsburgh Area (I79)
- Take I79 North to Exit 141 (Geneva/Cochranton).
- Turn left at end of ramp, and follow PA 285 North toward Conneaut Lake (6.7 miles).
- In Conneaut Lake, turn left at the traffic light and follow PA 285 for .5 mi, continuing straight onto US 6 toward Linesville. You will bear left after 6.1 miles to stay on US 6. Continue on US 6 for 1.1 miles and bear right at the gas station. Continue on US 6 for 4.4 miles.
- Turn left onto Footsville Rd. After 1.1 miles, turn left onto Phelps Rd. It is a dirt road.
- Go straight on Phelps for 2.1 miles, and bear left. You may notice a somewhat primitive boat launch ramp on the right. Continue for .25 mi, and the gate to the club will be on your left.
